I am Alex, a Software Engineer based in Singapore 🇸🇬

The main purpose of starting this site is for me to have a space to talk about anything that interests me.

A side goal of this is also to share things that I have learnt and experienced to anyone on the internet that may find helplful or interesting.

I am lucky and fortunate to have a job that allows me to explore and learn things that interests me. These are mainly in the domain of Operating Systems, Computer Networking, and Storage.

More specifically, I am working on a Kafka-like message queue system in C++ where I get to experience the fun of building and maintaining a complex distributed system.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading about everything and anything under the sun. I also find running helps calm me down and reflect on the things that have happened. ☘️
