I always wanted to create a personal site where I can start writing about things I am interested in. I have been procastinating this and I finally had time this long weekend to start on it!

I choose Jekyll because it’s relatively easy for me to learn and setup within the short time I have (~over a weekend). I also wanted a simple way for me to write in a format (markdown) that I am familiar with. There’s also free hosting with github pages, so we can publish this whole thing cheap and easy.

So just like that, I have finally setup my personal site and I hope to write regularly, like once a week hopefully? :p
